Week 8

Lately Quinn does not want to be held :(
 

Pondering life...
 

Super Quinn :)  One of our versions of tummy time; since he absolutely hates being on his tummy!

I like: Talking in the morning time, going on walks, and listening to music with Mommy in the afternoon.

 

Dislike: LOTION!  He hates when I put lotion on him, gets it from Uncle Chad. 

Sleeping patterns:  2 days this week he only woke up once from 7pm to 7am! 

 

Milestones:  Head is definitely getting stronger, sticks his tongue out, and turned 2 months old on Saturday (19th)...picture to come!

Week 7

I like:  Talking in the morning time, going on walks, and his new ball toy. 

Dislike: He is quite the busy little boy lately and would much rather play than let Mommy hold him all day :( 

Sleeping patterns:  Slept from 7:30pm to 2:30am!!!  Oh yes way to go Quinn!

Milestones:  Quinn can hold certain objects now, and recently found his hands!

Week 6

I like: Listening to books, and music. 

Dislike: Tummy time!

 

Sleeping patterns: Still 3 to 4 hours in the night.

 

Milestones:  Started taking the bottle a little better!  Very nice so mommy can run a few errands :)

 

 

Quinn's Favorites

Every mother has her favorites and here are mine:


*Quinn has 5 of these swaddles and they are a must for us.  I like how they breathe and are super soft! 
 

*If you are a breast feeding mother like me you will definitely use the Boppy!  Back saver :)
 

*This is the ultimate stain remover "you will need it trust me" Babies poop or pee on everything :)  Little vinegar, blue dawn (miracle worker), and a touch of water.  Works like a charm. 
 

*This is what I use and really like it.  We went to Sam's before Quinn was born and stocked up...a must because it is unreal how much laundry a 7 lb little bundle of joy produces!
 

*I put these pads on Quinn's changing pad and on our couch for naked time.  They are super absorbent and soft.  I purchased these bad boys from Target. 
 

*The Diaper Champ...definite must!  Unlike other brands you can use a wal-mart or target sack instead of buying 'certain' bags to place in it.  Love saving money :)
 

*Honest Diapers.  I purchased the starter kit before Quinn was born.  I paid $5 dollars and they sent several diapers and wipes to try out.  Once we decided we liked these diapers I signed up for the diaper bundle and they are sent to my front door...can't beat that! 
Reasons why I like:
-very absorbent
-super stylish
-the side tab that goes around the legs are very soft, other brands seem to irritate Quinn's leg
-I can feel good that no harsh chemicals or dyes are on my baby!
 

*A MUST for the Diaper Rashes, we add a little every changing and Quinn has yet to get a rash.  Thanks Aunt Cynthia for the recommendation!
 

*Summer baby monitor...my good friend recommended this monitor and I definitely agree with her it's the best!
 

*I love the smell
 

*Quinn loves this brand
 

*The whale tub, I like this tub because the green bench helps keep the baby upright.  The other tubs he seems to wiggle around in.

*And last but most certainly not least...A House Cleaner!  I went back and forth and could not decide if I needed one.  Yes, I stay at home with our sweet baby, but honeslty I didn't want to worry about cleaning and instead wanted to hold my baby!  Plus it makes this momma very happy to have a clean house, and Bradford says as long as momma's happy we are all happy :)

Week 5...Christmas

This week Quinn has been a busy boy. He loved on all 6 of his grandmas such a blessed boy to have so many grandmas to give him sweet love!  He also met several family members on both sides and soon he will be playing with his many cousins.

Week 5

 

I like:  Listening to books, vibrating chair, and his paci! 

 

Dislike: Quinn really is a good baby and honestly just cries when hungry or the occasional cry in the evening time if he is over tired.  Mommy is blessed with a great BABY!

 

Sleeping patterns:  Sleeps around 3-4 hours at night then he's a hungry baby.

 

Milestones: Quinn is smiling some, such a wonderful feeling seeing him smile!  Makes this Momma happy!!! 

 

1 Month...Big Boy!

I Like:  Hanging out on my changing table...seriously the strangest thing.  I think maybe he enjoys looking at the pattern on the drapes? 
 

Dislike:  Being hungry...maybe he gets this from his mother?   

Sleeping Patterns: Sleeps well at night; wakes every 3.5 hours to eat...good Baby!

Milestones: 1 month old!!!

Week 3

 

I Like: Hanging out with my Dad, and going for stroller rides!
 

Dislike: Getting out of the bath.  The bath is so warm and cozy do you blame him? :)
 

Sleeping Patterns: Still sleeping well at night; wakes every 3.5 hours to eat...good Baby!

Milestones: Made the trip to Gore this week and he slept the entire way home.  So proud of him!
