Week 37

I need to do a little catching up first...last week my mother came and helped with painting the side table!  She's a good helper :)




Last week the Hubby and I went for a small hike...the Bentonville Trails are very pretty now with the Fall Foliage!

Now for this week!  Yet again my mother came to help me prepare meals for when Baby M arrives (I'm very blessed to have a great MOM)...Good thing she is a stay at home wife now also!  I love the extra help.

How many weeks? 37

Size of baby? The size of: a Watermelon...it definitely feels like a watermelon is in there! 

Gender? Boy

Weight gain? 27 lbs

Cravings?  Walnuts, egg/sausage breakfast burrito, and Acai juice. 

Maternity Clothes? Oh yes! I have been lucky enough to have 2 girlfriends let me borrow there maternity clothes; so I really have not bought a lot.

Feel the baby move? His moves are definitely a lot stronger these days!  He also gets the hiccups often, such a strange feeling.    

Symptoms?  Feeling good, just feeling huge :) 

What's going on this week?  Had our weekly doctors appointment (10/22) and everything is still looking great!  Just waiting for the day Baby M wants to arrive :)   

Belly Button (in or out)? Still hanging in there...extremely flat!

 

Week 36

We have good news in the Montgomery household...the Nursery is FINISHED!  This makes for one happy momma to be :)


I have also had a little extra time and energy to make my little man a stocking!  Next, I just need to get it embroidered! 



 

Overall the slipcover was a hassle but it is soooo soft!  This will be wonderful during late night feedings :)

Baby M's footprints from 1 month to 1 year will be on the middle canvas...so we can watch him grow! 
 

Changing table all ready :)  Now we just need a Baby and pictures to put on the chevron canvas!

Size of baby? The size of: a Watermelon...SERIOUSLY?!

Weight gain? 25 lbs

Cravings? Applesauce, walnuts, and homemade Reese's cups...delish! 

Maternity Clothes? Oh yes! I have been lucky enough to have 2 girlfriends let me borrow there maternity clothes; so I really have not bought a lot.

Feel the baby move? His moves are definitely a lot stronger these days!

Symptoms? Feeling pretty good lately, and ready for Baby M's big arrival; when ever that will be :)   

What's going on this week?  Everything at our recent doctor's appointment (10/16) went great!  Heartrate strong, blood pressure great, and measurements are right on track!  Nothing makes us happier than hearing our sweet babies heartbeat...so exciting! 

Belly Button (in or out)? Still hanging in there...nice and flat! 

Week 35

We had Baby M's shower #2 at Bethel Baptist this past weekend!

Week 35 and we are packed and ready to go!  I'm afraid my husband may think I'm a little crazy but I need to be prepared :)

Size of baby? The size of: a Large Cantaloupe (still)

Gender? Boy

Weight gain? 25 lbs

Cravings? Applesauce, walnuts, and egg/sausage breakfast burrito.

Maternity Clothes? Oh yes! I have been lucky enough to have 2 girlfriends let me borrow there maternity clothes; so I really have not bought a lot.

Feel the baby move?  His moves are definitely a lot stronger these days!   

Symptoms? Feeling pretty good lately:) Wish I didn't get tired so fast; I'm not very good at just resting! 

What's going on this week?  This week we have finished most projects for the nursery (finally!!!).  Now we just need to put it all together.  I can proudly say the rocker is COVERED!  I highly suggest never try to do that 35 weeks pregnant...haha!  We also start weekly visits with our Doctor, and last meeting with Doula is this week.  Yikes it's getting so close.  CAN'T WAIT to hold Baby M!

Week 34

This week we have been busy putting all of Baby M's gadgets together...so fun!

Weight gain? 24 lbs

Maternity Clothes? Oh yes! I have been lucky enough to have 2 girlfriends let me borrow there maternity clothes; so I really have not bought a lot.

Feel the baby move?  Baby M has changed to slow moves and rolls.  We are running out of room in there!   

Symptoms?  Nesting has kicked in full force around the Montgomery household!  I had to inform the Hubby it is a real 'thing' not just me being my normal Type A self :) 

What's going on this week?  Gigi came up this week and we knocked out so much for the nursery!  I can't wait to get it all together and post some pictures!  Also, looking forward to Baby M's shower #2!  The women at my Dad's church have really gone above and beyond and are doing a super cute airplane shower!  Going to be fun, I just loved being showered with love...who doesn't?! 

Belly Button (in or out)? Still hanging in there...nice and flat! Not sure how much longer we will last, but it seems to change daily!

Gender? Boy

Weight gain? 23 lbs

Cravings? Applesauce, walnuts, and toast with strawberry jam.

Maternity Clothes? Oh yes! I have been lucky enough to have 2 girlfriends let me borrow there maternity clothes; so I really have not bought a lot.   

Feel the baby move? Oh yes, he is an active little man. His head is down and those sweet little feet love to kick me in the ribs.  He tends to kick more on the right side.   

Symptoms?  Feeling pretty good lately :)  Other than the anxiety of getting everything ready for the big day. 

What's going on this week?  Trying to get all of Baby M's goodies put up and organized...BIG task!  Also, the fabric for my slipcover came in so now I need to complete that bad boy! 

Belly Button (in or out)? Still hanging in there...nice and flat! Not sure how much longer we will last.  Ashley, you now know what a flat belly button looks like :) 

Week 32

How many weeks? 32

Size of baby? The size of: a Honeydew (4lbs 11ounces)

Gender? Boy

Weight gain? Still 22 lbs

Cravings?  Applesauce, walnuts, and chocolate covered almonds (which I have to stop....heartburn and chocolate do not mix)

Maternity Clothes?  Oh yes!  I actually need to find a cute dress this week for maternity pics that are coming up. 

Feel the baby move? Oh yes, he is an active little man.  His head is down and those sweet little feet love to kick me in the ribs. 

Symptoms?  Where in the world did my ENERGY go?  Haha, oh yeah to Baby M.  We are taking it easy though, other than walks and occasional shopping trips we stay at home and REST!

What's going on this week?  Well we went to the doctor today (9/17) and baby is looking great.  Head down, HR of 157, weighing in at 4 lbs 11ounces, and he is still a "HE"!  Haha, kind of nice to know since we haven't had an ultrasound since week 20. 

Belly Button (in or out)?  Still hanging in there...nice and flat!  Not sure how much longer we will last, haha! 

 

Week 31

OK now lets take a look at the Henry side and hope Baby M takes after us :)

Let's just hope Baby M does NOT ever have a dirty stache like my Dad...haha Love ya Dad, but too funny!

Size of baby? The size of: Pinneapple (3.9 lbs)

Gender? Boy

Weight gain? 23 lbs

Cravings?  Apples, pasta dish I made with leeks and bacon, and water. 

Maternity Clothes? Yes

Feel the baby move? Oh yes, he is an active little man.  He has been kicking on my right side all week!  

Symptoms? Feeling a little off balance with the belly getting bigger, and of course hungry often. It seems like the second I hit the 3rd trimester Baby M has been SO hungry.  Also, tired tired and tired!   

Belly Button (in or out)? I'd say flat, on the verge of out. 

What I'm looking forward to this week?  Looking forward to our first Birthing class this week.  We should learn a lot hopefully :).  Also, excited for baby shower that's coming up in 2 weeks!  Progress in the nursery is coming along:  I started making a slipcover for rocking chair and a growth chart...hoping to have those finished within a week.  Then I only need a rug and wall accessories!  I will post pictures as soon as I'm finished!  *Sometimes I think, why must I DIY EVERYTHING???  But then I just adore the personal touches and love we have put into our sweet babies room. 

Lastly, the Henry family lost a beloved member of 16 years recently.  Petie was such a good dog and we will definitely miss him!
