Week 30

We are camper PROUD!

Bradford loves camping! I like camping in a camper; opposed to a tent (been there done that)!

Once the babe arrives we will definitely hit the road with him, let's say around month 4 or 5 ;).

Beautiful sunset at Beaver Lake
*Lake Tenkiller Saturday for Labor Day

Look at those pretty girls!

Forgot my dress so this weeks pic is from the Lake and in normal clothes I actually wear ;)
-How many weeks? 30
-Size if baby? The size of: Head of Lettuce
-Gender? Boy
-Weight gain? 21 lbs
-Cravings? Nothing specific, in general I want to eat everything! Haha
-Maternity clothes? Yes
-Feel the baby move? Oh yes! Baby M is so strong, he likes to hit mommies ribs a lot.
-Symptoms? The dreaded heartburn is back! But that's to be expected from now until birth. Not enough room for everything ;)
-Belly button (in or out)? Still hanging in there and just flat!
-What I'm looking forward too? We have several baby things going on this month; last busy month before baby arrives! I'm relaxing in October ;)
2 Baby showers, maternity pictures, birthing classes, last meeting with Doula, and finalizing babies room. Ok tired just talking about it ;). All so fun though cant wait!

Week 29

This week we will take a look into what Baby M will look like!  If you ask me I believe he will be the spitting imagine of Bradford, but I guess we shall see :)

How precious is this, I will take a little boy just like him!!!

If I were having a girl; Cynthia would say it would be just like little Brookie!  Don't worry Cynthia, Baby M will probably act just like Aunt Brooke :)

Look at this dashing young man, Bradford's dad John.  Yep, they look a like!
*So the odds are my baby will have big lips, a great smile, and maybe a little on the "strong willed" side :)  All are good with me!

How many weeks? 29
  • Size of baby? The size of: Butternut squash (3.1lbs)
  • Gender? Boy
  • Weight gain? 19 lbs
  • Cravings? Crunchy Cheetos, may finally be a little tired of cinnamon rice chex.
  • Maternity Clothes? Yes
  • Feel the baby move? Oh yes, he is an active little man. We can see kicks now while looking at belly, very cool! He is doing a lot of rolls lately, a very strange feeling.  The grandmas came up this week (for a little shopping) and Baby M finally gave them a good kick or two.
  • Symptoms?  Feeling a little off balance with this belly getting bigger, and of course hungry often.  It seems like the second I hit the 3rd trimester Baby M has been SO hungry.
  • Belly Button (in or out)? I'd say flat, on the verge of out.
  • What I'm looking forward to this week?  All furniture pieces are in the nursery; now it's time to add the cute accessories, and finishing touches!  I also find it crazy how much you can love someone  without even seeing them.  Baby M mommy loves you!

    Week 28

We had a lot going on this week; with several baby projects in progress, and Miranda Lambert Concert!

Bradford has loved Miranda for years, so when we heard she was performing in Fayetteville we had to go.  I'd say she is better live, very good performance!

    Love the Hubby!

Ha awkward pose, but you can see how crowded it was!

*Now for the important stuff, Nursery Progress :)

Curtains are up!  I can gladly say I may be finished sewing for at least a week :)
-Also, the lamp I found at IMAX.

DIY crib skirt, this little booger really made me think!  Bradford says it's good for me :)  I spent a good hour just calculating and remeasuring to make sure everything was right before cutting.  (glad that's over with)

    Finished product!

*Now some of the furniture from Gore, I mentioned last week.  This piece was given to us from Diana.  This cabinet was just what I was looking for.  Love the lines!

    *Before

I didn't mind the color before, just thought it needed to be toned down a little.

After!  (minus two pulls, still looking for screws to fit)
Totally stole this idea from pinterest!

  • How many weeks? 28
  • Size of baby? The size of: Small Cabbage (2.9lbs)
  • Gender? Boy
  • Weight gain? 17 lbs
  • Cravings? Still, cinnamon rice chex.

  • Symptoms? HUNGRY, honestly an hour after eating I'm hungry again!  Bradford can no longer keep up with me :)
  • Belly Button (in or out)?  I'd say flat, on the verge of out.
  • What I'm looking forward to this week?   Looking forward to resting, all the projects last week zapped my energy.  I love feeling kicks everyday reminding me of this precious gift from God.  Can't wait to meet Baby M and tell everyone the name....I'm not good with secrets :)

    Week 27 (Third Trimester!!!)

This week we took a little trip to Dripping Springs (thanks to Shannon Smith's post).  This amazing waterfall is basically in our backyard and we had no clue!  It was so pretty and glad we made the trip!

  • Symptoms?  HUNGRY!!!  Bradford can no longer keep up with me :)
  • What I'm looking forward to this week? Enjoying the cooler weather finally!  We have taken advantage of the 80's and have been outside a lot; I hate being stuck inside!  Also, glad to announce we have chosen a Doula; lets just say she knows a thing or two about babies "having 8 of her own!".   Finally, the furniture from Gore is in my possession!  Woohoo, so excited to get it all in the nursery, pics next week of furniture.

    Week 26

I have some catching up to do first.  During Week 25 Baby M went on his first plane ride with Dad as the pilot!  I was a little nervous at first, but knew we were in good hands.  I really do enjoy flying at sunset; so smooth and pretty!

Now for the progress of the Nursery...

Rocking chair from my Grandma Janella...I reupholstered it to match the rest of the nursery.

Oh the dreaded drapes, I decided to conquer these on my own.  I did have the nursery quoted by a professional, but I thought it was entirely too much.  So I went to pinterest and knew I could do it.  I mean, I have had a total of 12 sewing lessons so I figured why not?!

So far I like...now to hang them.  That's Bradford's job!
    Just 2 more panels left...I think I can :)

    Vintage American Flag!

I had to share a few pics of my Favorite Texas girl!  Isn't she cute?  This is Miss Cindy; Brooke and I enjoyed some much needed quality time with her this past weekend.

    Rub a Dub

  • Symptoms?  Hungry often, trying to eat several small meals throughout the day.  As the baby grows he is causing my stomach to become full faster.
  • What I'm looking forward to this week?  Resting and enjoying the blessing we have.
