Week 23

How many weeks? 23

Size of baby? The size of an Ear of Corn.

Gender? Boy

Weight gain? 12 lbs.

Cravings? CHERRIES and Cinnamon Rice Chex! 

Maternity Clothes?  Aunt Brooke came and we failed in finding "cute" maternity shorts :(  We are still keeping our eye out for the right pair, but we did find a super cute maxi dress! 

Feel the baby move? Oh yes, he is an active little man. We can see kicks now while looking at belly, very cool!  

Symptoms?  Starting to get tired more often now.  Saturday, Brooke and I did a lot, I went to bed with dirty DISHES in the sink!!!  Anyone who knows me knows this is a BIG deal, but thankfully I have a wonderful Sister-in-Law and she had the dishes done when I woke up.  So sweet of her! 

What I'm looking forward to this week?  I had a meeting with a local photographer "Snaps by Poteat" and couldn't be happier with her work.  So thankful to have that marked off the list!  The crib should be delivered sometime this week...eek!  Can't wait to get my little man's nursery together. 

This little beaut will be in the nursery!  {Papa John} made sure to bring something back from the "grandparents" road trip to North Carolina!  This plane will be the perfect accessory in our nursery! 

Week 22

We went to Ludington, MI for the 4th with our good friends Tyson and Meghann (newly engaged!!).  We had such a wonderful time and the lake is beautiful.  Already planning our next trip, if Denise will have us again :). 

Of course "Tator Tot" had to get a few Ludington items. 

I wish they had an unsalted baby onesie, but this is still cute. 

 

How many weeks? 22

Size of baby? The size of a Papaya.

Gender? Boy

Weight gain? 12 lbs.

Cravings? CHERRIES, and Salt & Vinegar Chips.

Maternity Clothes? Just the one pair of shorts I previously bought, dresses are my go to lately. I have a feeling I need to buy more maternity clothes soon!  Maybe this week I will make it shopping, still recovering from the 14 hour trip home from Michigan.  Aunt Brooke may need to come see me soon to help me find clothes!!!

Feel the baby move? Oh yes, he is an active little man. He is like his Mom, kicks a ton when hungry! He may have his days and nights confused because he is kicking a lot at night. I can tell babe is getting stronger; kicks are a lot harder!   

Symptoms? Overall very good. Loving the extra energy the 2nd trimester brings; trying to take advantage of that, and get started with the nursery while I have the energy! 

What I'm looking forward to this week? Looking forward to our meeting with Sara Honeycutt; local Doula, who I think will really be beneficial to us in the delivery of our sweet baby!   

Week 21

 

How many weeks? 21

Size of baby? The size of a Spaghetti squash.

Gender? Boy

Weight gain? 9lbs

Cravings? Cherries, and Salt & Vinegar Chips.

Maternity Clothes? Just the one pair of shorts I previously bought, dresses are my go to lately. I have a feeling I need to buy more maternity clothes soon!

Feel the baby move? Oh yes, he is an active little man. He is like his Mom, kicks a ton when hungry!  He may have his days and nights confused because he is kicking a lot at night. 

Symptoms? Overall very good.  Loving the extra energy the 2nd trimester brings; trying to take advantage of that, and get started with the nursery while I have the energy!  The only thing that bothers me are the constant pee breaks, you pee non-stop with a baby!!!

What I'm looking forward to this week?  Looking forward to buying baby things.  Next on the list is a crib, I think I have it narrowed down!   We are thinking retro/vintage airplane theme for the Babe!  Only appropriate seeing how Hubby is a pilot, I'm sure "Tator Tot" <babes name since we are not telling until he arrives> will have a passion for planes as well!

Weight gain? 7lb

Cravings? Cherries, (still) YUM!

Maternity Clothes? Just the one pair of shorts I previously bought, dresses are my go to lately.  I have a feeling I need to buy more maternity clothes soon!

Feel the baby move?  Oh yes, he is an active little man.  He is like his Mom, kicks a ton when hungry!   

Symptoms? Overall very good.

What I'm looking forward to this week? We finally emptied the babies room this past weekend and are now in full nursery mode!   Thank you Pinterest, I can now consume my days with nursery research!!!

Week 19

Size of baby? The size of a Mango.

Gender? Still waiting to find out; should find out June 21! (Good Birthday surprise for someone!)

Weight gain? 6lb

Cravings? Cherries, YUM!

Maternity Clothes? Just the one pair of shorts I previously bought, dresses are my go to lately.

Feel the baby move?  Little flutters; so strange to feel, but cool at the same time.  Small kicks at times. 

Symptoms? Overall very good, Bradford may say a little moody :).

What I'm looking forward to this week?  We are so ready for Thursday; hoping to find out the sex!

Cravings? Loving watermelon

Maternity Clothes? Just the one pair of shorts I previously bought, dresses are my go to lately

Feel the baby move?   Little flutters; so strange to feel, but cool at the same time.  Also, small kicking at times

Symptoms? Overall very good

What I'm looking forward to this week? Continuing to feel baby flutters, and growing this precious gift we have!

Highlight of the week?  Buying babies first outfit!!  It's OSU of course, and so stinking cute.  Finally an OSU baby in the Henry family :)

Cravings? No cravings this week, just hungry often

Feel the baby move?  We have movement PEOPLE!!  Little flutters; so strange to feel, but cool at the same time

Symptoms?  Overall very good

What I'm looking forward to this week?  Continuing to feel baby flutters, and growing this precious gift we have!
